Subtropical Dairy Team
Brad specialises in subtropical environments, with a career in the applied science of dairy herd nutrition as well as the development and extension of whole dairy farm systems. Brad’s management experience extends through dairy supply management (pre and post-farmgate) to senior business, organisation and project management.
Appointed to his role in 2014, Brad is enthusiastic about the northern dairy industry and driving Subtropical Dairy to become a quality provider of services and information to the industry.
Belinda Haddow
Regional Extension Officer
Regional Extension Officer - Darling Downs, Burnett and south-east Queensland.
Belinda is committed to Queensland dairy having worked in the industry since 1995 after completing her Agricultural Science degree at the University of Queensland.
Across her career, Belinda has enjoyed working with dairy farmers and their businesses, with a decade of experience in Darling Downs and the South Burnett as a farm liaison-extension officer with the Department Primary Industries and Dairy Farmers. Belinda has also worked with farmers in the Young Dairy Network and on industry projects and natural disaster response teams.
Belinda lives in Highfields near Toowoomba with her husband Mark and three children.
Jo Srhoj
Regional Extension Officer
Regional Extension Officer - Far-north Queensland.
Jo was raised on the Arthy Brothers dairy farm south of Beaudesert, growing up working in milking, mustering, herd management and record keeping. Jo has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Masters of Agribusiness from the University of Queensland.
With experience at the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Mareeba, north Queensland, Jo worked in plant pathology specialising in bacteriology and was involved in a number of research projects involving field crops and horticulture crops.
Jo returned to the dairy industry in 2017, working as an Extension Coordinator for far-north Queensland and as Industry Development Officer for the Dairying Better n’ Better program.
Di Gresham
Dairyinfo.biz Project Manager
Di first developed Subtropical Dairy’s regional website, Dairyinfo.biz in 2006 as part of her award winning project in the RIRDC Rural Woman of the Year awards. Di continues to manage the site on behalf of Subtropical Dairy.
Experienced in facilitation and project management, Di remains passionate about the dairy industry and enjoys delivering programs that have positive outcomes for farmers. Di resides with her family on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
