How to manage tyres on farm decision tool

Tyres are very useful materials to re-use on farm. Regulations for storage of tyres on farm vary between states, and it's best to check with your local environmental regulator regarding the permissions required on your farm.

This decision tool is specifically designed to help Victorian farmers navigate the new environmental regulations in Victoria, which came into effect on 1 July 2021. In most cases, storage of used tyres on a site will require permission from the Environmental Protection Authority Victoria (EPA). What you need to do depends on the number of tyres you have.
