Australia remains Foot and Mouth Disease Free

Following outbreaks of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in nearby countries, Australia has activated our biosecurity farm plan and our emergency animal disease preparedness plan to manage the risk to our animal based agricultural industries, including dairy. FMD is not currently in Australia.

Australian Dairy welcomes announcement on FTA with the United Kingdom

The Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC) welcomes the announcement of an 'Agreement in Principle' for a Free Trade Agreement with the United Kingdom (UK).

Milk prices open higher

Opening milk prices are higher for the 2021/22 season than the previous year. This is partly driven by improvements in global market fundamentals
